Persuasion is totally awesome. Maybe the fact that Anne is a tad bit older than the typical Austen heroine is part of what is so enchanting about the book, but also the settings and the secondary characters are interesting. Anyway, I love it. And thanks for mentioning A Christmas Carol. It was the December selection for our book club and we enjoyed it greatly and found a lot of depth to it. 💞🦌💖🎅🏽🎄
